About This Event
Elite Amateur Sports presents a hockey skills and combine competition on August 22, 2026, at Big Boy Arena. Players will compete in four measured events: forward sprint, backward sprint, agility/edges with the puck, and hardest shot. Skating times are measured using a professional-grade laser system, and shot speed is tracked by radar. Champions will be recognized by birth year for boys and girls in each event, along with an overall champion. All ages are welcome. The event runs from 5:30–8:30 PM, with each player assigned a one-hour time slot. Registration is $25 for Detroit Kickoff Classic athletes and $49 for non-tournament players.
